I’ve got to say, there is not much in the world as exciting as a bucket of sharpie markers.

Sharpie markers are a very versatile tool in both a mothers and an artists toolbox. With the wide variety of colors and sizes, not only are these permanent markers great for labeling everything, but they are Amazing for art projects too.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give sharpies an 11 on the must have list for every home, office, and artist workshop.

Sharpie markers are excellent for coloring and drawing. I even use them in combination with other art supplies like oil pastels, colored pencils, and watercolors for some of my pieces. Signing or dating pieces, coloring without smearing or smudging, drawing and outlining, and that’s just for the projects on paper. As I said earlier, I really like experimenting with different combinations of sharpies and other art supplies and would love to see some of your work.

The only negative thing (I use the word “negative” loosely here) I’ve come across with these perfect products is the overwhelming choices of which tip and colors to use. It’s really just kind of an awesome “problem” to face.
